The range includes both
Monograde, straight grades such as SAE 30 and Multigrade, such as
20w/50.
The monograde range may be used
for pre 1950 automotive applications and pre 1970’s motor cycles where
straight oils are used for crankcases and/or gear boxes. Multigrades
where recommended for 1960’s and 1970’s automobiles for all year round
use and also use in some gear boxes. The Classic range also incorporates
Straight Gear oils : SAE 80 to SAE 140.
